Some people find their inspiration in studios or sketchbooks. Mine finds me in the forest, turning a leaf over in my hand, taking macro photographs of tiny flowers, and inspecting the moss covered boulders beneath spay from a waterfall. 

I'm Jemima, the maker behind Moss & Stone Jewellery - a handcrafted sterling silver and natural gemstone jewellery brand born in the Blue Mountains, NSW. What started as a relaxing form of creative expression has grown into something I love deeply: translating the textures, forms and quiet beauty of the natural world into pieces you can wear every day.

Nature has always been where I go to feel calm and grounded. Over years of slowing down and paying close attention - to the shape of a petal, the weight of a river stone, the way a fern unfurls - I found that those details were shaping the way I saw beauty. Eventually, they started shaping the jewellery I made too, and provided me with a way to share what I see in nature with others.

Every Moss & Stone piece is handcrafted with care, using sterling silver and carefully chosen natural gemstones. My aim is never to replicate nature exactly, but to capture its feeling - that sense of stillness and connection you get when you step outside and really look at the world around you.
